We believe that the Old and New Testaments of the Christian Bible are God's word, written and acknowledged by his people throughout history, having been inspired by the Holy Spirit. These scriptures are the basis for our understanding of God and the Christian faith, and have final authority on all doctrinal matters.
Because God reveals himself and other important truths through the scriptures, we believe it is important for every believer to learn to read and interpret the bible honestly and accurately for themselves so that they can grow as followers of Jesus and deepen their familiarity with the character and will of God.

The SOAP Method
Here at Bethany we participate in a collective Bible reading plan to enjoy scripture together utilizing the SOAP method. SOAP Stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Every weekday at 8 AM our pastors and leaders are on Facebook and Youtube LIVE to SOAP with our community. We read through the daily chapter listed in the plan, discuss it with each other, apply it to our lives, and then pray together. SOAP is a great way to stay in the word, build relationships, and grow in your faith.
